Yep, and 7439 was the lead motor of Pelham 128 (the trailer of Pelham 123 that was stuck at 28th St and whose radio Inspector Daniels used to communicate w/ Garber.Incidentally, a few months after I saw Pelham 123, I saw 7339, this time on its correct line (3). Still was graffiti-free, just like in the film (dunno when they filmed those scenes, had to be early 1974 at the latest, so I dunno how the TA kept it from getting tagged for about a year). Unlike in the film, it was buried in the middle of the consist. |
