Check it out in the original, I'm sure it was mentioned here but I'll say it. Grand Central tower was actually today's New York Transit Museum or Court Street terminal tower. The train ran on the 6th Ave line @ some points in the original also. Take a look in some of the scenes where U'll C R-22 #7339 coupled to an R-10 @ Hoyt n Schermhorn St. In the movie that was suppose to B 42nd St. We all know the #6 runs up against the wall since it's a local. In fact they used a bunch of R-22's for that movie. The operating car was #7339 but in some scenes, They even used 7434 as an operating car in some of the tunnel scenes. Also as the train left what was that 28th Street Station the last car of the train had car #9339 on it and this was an R-22! |
