"It's cheaper to drive."Not counting the value of your time and the wear and tear on your car. On the railroad you could be doing something other than driving (ie reading, getting work done, exchanging business cards, talking on your cellphone (unless on a "quiet car") or ?? So you have to decide how your time is best spent. |
