Oh come now, walking? Where are they walking to on Industrial Blvd in Deer Park, the miniature golf course? And Bethpage?

The sidewalk lol. Bethpage workers also have the option of taking the N80 at the Hicksville station.

As for cheaper, I don't see how it's possible. I drive an SUV, and it costs me about $15-20 to drive round trip to Manhattan from Central Suffolk. It would be a lot cheaper between Riverhead and Central Islip. The Railroad costs me $13.50 each way, thus $27.00 round trip. It's cheaper to drive.

I don't see that being possible with gas prices being involved in a case of someone commuting from say Riverhead to Deer Park by car.
