Correct, that's the point. Traffic between Riverhead and "Central Islip" is not all that bad, even at rush hours. And in addition, construction people usually need their tools, equipment, etc, which would be next to impossible to drag onto a train. Furthermore, what do they do once they get to the "Central Islip" (or fill in a station) station to get to their construction site (without their tools no less)? |
