If memory serves right, I do remember seeing 8-car R62s as early as that same year, 1991 or so on a few weekends. They were in the process of being linked as the cars i remember were being moved into sequence (many were placed in sequences like 1301-10, 1471-80...and so forth). All the cars were linked by 1993 or so by then, IIRC...I also saw trains of Redbirds on the 4 operating 8-cars at that same time as well... |
