The Webster Ave connection to the 3rd Ave el opened in 1917.The part of the 9th Ave el north of 155th St. Polo Grounds opened in 1918 (it was partly elevated and part underground. The Gowanus El section of the Culver/Crosstown subway line opened in 1933 and the Culver connection north of Ditmas Ave was built in the late 1930s and opened in 1954. |
