Does the emergency exit go straight up, or at an angle towards the shore?Also, even though the Nassau line came later, the Montague tubes had to have been built in anticipation. The Manhattan-bound R elevates to allow the Brooklyn-bound M underneath; that had to be part of the original construction. |
