The one on Hillside Ave that you mentioned, that's the reason why Hillside Ave widens so considerably after 216 St. Springfield Bvld was supposed to be the end of the line in the first draft of the Second System plans; the second draft had the line going all the way to where the Cross Island Pkwy now runs. If only all this extra stuff had been built.... |
