Looks like verrrrrrrrrrrrry tight brakes, and/or possible a trainline issue where the brake release and acceleration "command" from the head end reaches this pair later than it is supposed to, and results in delayed action. Definitely a candidate for shopping. Surprised this didn't end in, at some point this day, a pull-apart (undesired uncoupling).More than a few times on NH equipment, I have seen delayed actions in equipment, primarily how an entire train will close down with the exception of say one pair, which sometimes waits like 8 - 10 seconds before it completely closes |
