That pair needs to be shopped ASAP!! Next time, report that to the conductor!! Here at MNR, I lost count how many times I called in very rough cars (all NH equipment) and 3 blown traction motors which resulted in ride qualities and noises that had alarmed passengers making reports to me or the crew, and one time the noise and roughness from a blown traction motor we reported resulted in the train being taken out of service. The other times, we were speed restricted, 40 MPH....though it still didn't help. Don't be afraid to report it. |
