Posted by salaamallah@hotmail.com on Sun Dec 28 11:35:26 2008, in response to PHOTOS Valley Metro (Phoenix) Light Rail Part 2, posted by phxtusbusfan on Sat Dec 27 21:03:49 2008. i shot aout 100 or so photos yesterday from montabello to cambelbackand i think 19'th & some eastern stations to north central avenue, the people mover to sky harbor field is still under consruction... my hotel is walking distance from the phoenix trolley museum next to encanto park where the #10 freway goes under unforunately my laptop does not have photoshop so i will have to resize and post my photos when i return to california ..old windows 2000 .... this new light rail system is one of the most beautiful i think i have ever seen and rivals san diego ! today i will work central avenue alll thru downtown until sunset hope i can get every station with a train photographed the crowds were murder and reminded me of when the pasadena gold line opened and the sprinter dmu's in north san diego .... i met a ''subchater'' here who posts photos on buschat' he was a nice free happy go lucky guy, we met on a shuttle bus on my trip to mesa which i got some nice sunet photos at the east end of the line there . well its day #2 back to shooting in a few hours. thankz salaamallah |
