The half minute stuff is the ultimate proof we run a paper railroad. The reason being with a 7 1/2 minute headway you get 8 TPH, which is the logic behind the madness of the schedule makers at Operations Planning. Same thing for arrivals. Since NYCT is being so technical, even some arriving times are "+". So if they REALLY want to be technical so will I. An employee on his last trip of the day finishing a half a minute "late" doesn't get paid for that half minute! Hey, they preach "Every Second Counts" after all! |
