You can board ANYWHERE and still get the free transfer at 63/Lex, 59/Lex,, 23/Ely, Court Square or 45/Court as long as it's within 2 hours of your first swipe.For example you can board at Greenpoint Ave, take the G to the E and get off at 53/Lex, spend an hour and a half Christmas shopping on 5th Ave, and then walk up to 63/Lex and get your free transfer....you'll have to do a little bit of backtracking to get back to Greenpoint, but at least you saved $2. If you're still under 2 hours from your first swipe, you'll also still have a bus transfer left too. |
