It's a free transfer if you have Metrocard. It works in a fashion similar to the Court Sq/45 Rd metrocard transfer.It's also a time-consuming transfer, even compared to the transfer between E/V and 6 at Citicorp. The 63 St transfer is probably the most roundabout one in the system. Track levels at Lexington Av-63rd St are in the bowels of the Earth, and the transfer involves getting up to street level only to go back down below ground again. |
