Those are elevated stations, and the Rockaway stations date to the time of the LIRR, and had basically nothing done to them aside from fare control additions since the LIRR ran them. The Sea Beach stations are also out door stations, and date from the 1910's or 1920's. That's a lot older than 20 years....not to mention, different scenario.How about some underground stations, which are comparing apples and apples? |
