The vandals attack the 80 year old stations too, and many of them have held up much better, so that's not an excuse. And those "80 year" old stations weren't designed for "vandalism". In 1988, just leaving the most vandal infested two decades in subway history, they knew very well that anything designed or built should be more "vandal resistant"....especially in 1988 when we weren't nearly even out of the woods with combating vandalism. |
