I don;t know why they do that, and the last time I looked, it was about 9 or so PM, I think on weekends even, so that is kind of strange."A few years back I worked in W4 tower. The most consistent explanation I received for that particular D put-in is because of the work trains that cross the bridge at about that time. If a slow moving work train delayed uptown D service, that put-in could be used as appropriate. Michael |
