To me it shows somebody who isn't just one of those, "My father was a _________, my grandfather was a _________, so I'm also a moron". :-)The ones who say, "I'm a Republican, but..." are generally more of people trying to avoid getting yelled at by the other side. They're sick of being bashed for their unconditional support George Bush and they just want to have some comradeship in their political discussions. So they find an issue to agree with them on and try to act like one of the "good Republicans" as opposed to all those others. Seen it happen the other way around to, doesn't mean much to me either way. Lets here what you actually have to say, then we'll take it from there. (D,R,I, or w/e). I don't know, maybe I'm totally crazy with that analysis. :-) |
