It's not a step-back nor are you stating a fact.No.... not quite.... Entrance WITHIN a building to facilitate intermodal use is inherently better than one outside of the building. That is a fact. I don't wanna sound like an egomaniac, but I design buildings for a living, and in fact, In school I took a class on transportation architecture. Virtually ANY design professional would tell you the exact same thing. Now, I'm not saying that this fact makes the new SF terminal a failure, but I am saying that it is one aspect of the new terminal that is inferior to what presently exists. That is a fact, whether or not you like it. |
