Aside from the entrance being a couple more steps away, how ELSE is the new terminal inferior?

The new terminal allows platforming of 10 cars. That's a plus.

The new terminal allows two trains to relay. That's a plus.

The new terminal is an ACTUAL TERMINAL. That's a plus.

The new terminal is ADA. That's a plus.

The new terminal will supposedly handle crowding levels much better, making it easier to get in and out of the station. That's a plus.

The new terminal doesn't have gap fillers to break down and cause the station to go out of service. That's a huge plus.

Because of these factors, there's no need to hold trains at Chambers St in order to get the trains back on schedule, nor is there a need to stop and hold at EVERY station south of 14th St to let people walk up to the first 5 cars. That's a huge plus.

The new terminal will eventually have an in-system connection to Whitehall St, which gives Brooklyn riders a much easier transfer to the 1 train. That's a huge plus.

So what are the other cons of the new terminal, and how do they over-shadow these pros?
