Car 353 was still under TMNY control,it was marked for de-accession,but was waiting to whom it was going to.There was talk for it to go to the transit museum, to have a car from Staten Island;or to another museum(B+O,etc).When Con Ed moved control to another company,it put the car out of its yard.The last info was that a the car was moved,and cut up.This car did have a fire years ago,that is why no other museum wanted to take it.366 and 388 were better cars(less damage). |
