I hope they leave the mechanics alone, they're some of the fastest third-rail powered trains I've ever rode.Get a job, save up, fly out to SFO, and ride BART. Acceleration rates that spank NYCTA, LIRR/MNRR, and PATCO. MAS at 80mph. OTOH, it's headways reek by subway standards, but would spank any commuter rail agency in North America... |
