Basically 31 Pendolinos (for now) will go to 11 cars and four new 11-car trains will be built. One of the new ones is to replace the train which came to serious grief last year in Cumbria and was written off. The suggest that all of the Pendolinos may, eventually, become 11-car trains and not before time I can tell you. |
