No, it IS a subject I know something about. It is not purely due to mechanical failure that these cars are retired, but rather, due to corruption, and manipulative politics as well. Ask anyone who works for the Toronto TTC. Cars are retired WAYYYY too early.Seems like MBTA is heading down the same path...scrapping cars after 30 years....Even if these MBTA NTTS can be rebuilt in 25 years, that doesn't mean they will be rebuilt. |
