I rode the 3rd Ave El for the first time, back in 1966, when the remnant's of the IRT's Lo V mainline fleet took over from the old Van Dorn gang. Most of the motors, in '66, were the World's Fair Lo Vs, Until then, I haven't seen them since they ran in rush hour only service on the 7th Ave Exp. |
