LACMTA wants street running and many in the community (most of whom didn't want rail at all) want a subway. Today the Public Utilities Commission judge ruled that Expo MUST be grade separated at Farmdale. I had predicted elevated a while back and I'm still leaning that way. However Damien's group also opposes elevated due to noise concerns so..From Damien's email: At the [Public Utilities Commission] Hearing today on the Expo Line crossings by Dorsey HS and Foshay Learning Center, the assigned Judge Kenneth Koss issued the following statement as part of his ruling: "With the submission of Expo's information it appears that a grade separation at Farmdale is in fact practicable."
