That's heat from friction, which is unavoidable and short duration; as opposed to the frequent stops that a mass transit car will make. Disc brakes are typically vented, and in some implementations drilled, so they dissipate their own heat. And I don't think you have a good enough understanding of eddy currents (or friction) to explain yourself.You are suggesting dissipating the heat from dynamic braking through the wheels. |
