R-9's had clasp brakes with two shoes to each wheel.LO-V's had only one shoe to each wheel. I think the break cilenders were the same. Both had electric breaks with the R-9 using the same plug as the AB's. The LO-V's used a key like the cutting key for uncoupling. FLASH GORDON |
