I just got off 9022 on the (N) last night and my experience was the exact opposite of yours. The train was nice and cold, had that "brand new" smell to it, and gave a smooth ride from 34th St all the way down to 59th/4th. Although, OTOH, the FIND was stuck on the (W)'s Northbound routing starting at Whitehall St.I also happened to ride an R32 on the (E) in the morning and it was ok as it got me from Point A to Point B but the A/C was dismal, it was loud as expected, it screeched the moment the brakes were applied, and most of the lights were out on the train car, but it was ok though as it got me where I needed to go. |
