"I wonder if those new orions will be POS too.Hopefully not though." I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we have a bunch of those Orion VII NG Hybrid buses in Toronto and they're garbage. Those of my colleagues who have the misfortune of driving them on a regular basis complain about them constantly. They break down often (the current record holder is one that broke down about 65 miles out of the plant, before even reaching TTC property!), the mirrors are apparently awkwardly placed, there is a lot of glare on the windshield at night, and pieces of the bus tend to fall on operators when they go over potholes (true story, happened to my colleague!). The amount I've seen on the back of tow trucks so far is astounding. |
