That would be a funding nightmare for an NYC subway to operate in New Jersey.Bureaucratically, it would be a huge challenge. Possibly, it could be resolved by ceding the Flushing Line to PATH. But less drastic measures might also work. It's not much more crazy than the idea tossed around in some quarters to have HBLR extended to SI. |
