If i had a shop and resources...Years ago, I thought like that too. Something they told me about how anyone can be successful if they worked hard enough or whatever. Then I got older. I guess luck is kind of on your side. The US of A is still the best place in the world to have a rags-to-riches story. This is the only place on the planet where you are truly judged by nothing more than your net worth. Regardless of background, race, religious conviction, and even sexual orientation, you will be considered successful if you earn lots of money. Doesn't really even matter how you earned the money, whether through moral or immoral means, legal or illegal means, pawn shop or pyramid scheme, etc. etc. If you have the money, you will have the respect. Anyway, if not, you can hire a PR firm to buy you some respect. You millenials need a reality check. Getting the money (and/or getting there -- to the riches) is the hard part. Hurry up and get that roof together. Start small, you know? And if you really did that, you'd get some respect, and someone on this board might want to help you take the next step! Until then, you and I both are just full of hot air. |
