Nice to see that the Gold Line is getting the P2550s first :-)

Except that they still don't seem to be working. I posted yesterday that the two (706/708?) that were just accepted by Metro broke down again a week ago and haven't been running since as far as one frequent rider has observed.

They also show that Metro will option two more 50 car P2550 orders. I don't know how smart that is, but I don't know what the problems have been to say for sure.

It's cool that Long Beach is finally going to allow more frequent trains. My understanding has always been that half of the trains turn at Willow because Long Beach doesn't want that frequency of trains running downtown.
