But she saw the lights later at another station though.True. Fact is control had to confirm the actual train length by asking the operator. The train was telling the train control system that the train was 6 cars long. The train control system displays in central control were showing the train as 6 cars. A more detailed display of the occupied track circuits would have revealed that the train was in fact longer then 6 cars. John in the sand box of Maryland's eastern shore. |
