Posted by Chipper10 on Mon May 19 17:34:16 2008 With the arrivals of the first 100 out of 279 bi-level cars and transferring the Comet 2,3,4 and 5 cars to the Main/Bergen County and Pascack Valley lines, I would assume that NJ Transit would retire the Comet I cars now. I just rode on one set today and I couldn't believe that they are still running.Also, is it true that the Comet Ib cars are going to be transferred to SEPTA Regional Rail to add more service or adding more cars and also that the Comet Ib cars are now official out of service, is this true? |
