I also forgot to mention that it looks like they will build a new train yard for these lines if they get built. This is somewhat contrary to what they said last year when they said that the current yard had space enough for all of the new cars they would need even if the purple line were extended. They used that as justification when selling two large parcels of the existing yard. One for a new condo development and the other to allow a manufacturing business to expand. |
