What kind of overhaul? How much per PA1 car? What would the estimated useful life of a post-overhaul PA1 car be? you don't need new cars for CBTC. But the option chosen must be cost-effective, as apparently overhauling PA1/2/3s wouldn't be. That one could make PA1s CBTC-compatible with enough overhaul doesn't mean that one SHOULD spend to achieve that end. |
