Well, I'll take that assessment on too, but this has gotten to a point where he's unfortunately like a magnet for police attention.But my point is that sometimes, one accommodates if he wants to go on. The late Thurgood Marshall told a story about when he was with NAACP when he traveled to a particularly small town where the sheriff informed him, in a 'genteel' but pointed way, 'Just so that you know, no nigger has ever made it through a night in this town alive.' Marshall explained that he, therefore, took his constitutional rights with him to the next town, where he slept comfortably. |
