Posted by 33rd Street on Mon May 12 17:47:16 2008 Note: This is an observation done earlier today at approx 1345-1400 hours.While waiting for the uptown 6 at 33rd Street, somebody decided to take a photo. Three officers (one female, two male) questioned the person. The person in question showed and read 1050.9(c) to the officers. The female officer then said that those were the old rules (the rules have not changed since December 2005) and then the person in question then left the station. The officer put the icing on the cake when she said "We don't care if people take photos but that is what we are told." Moral of this story, officers *could* make themselves look bad when they question photographer. Feel free to chime in on your two cents. |
