In Scotland, where my step-daughter lives, pays over $10.00 Americam for a liter of gas. It is all taxes because their population is only about 5 million. They bear the burden, but they do have excellent mass-transit at thier disposal. Any citizen at age 62, can ride all of it free for the rest of their lives. |
