Bob, the cars that the Port of Authority asked about are the new bi levels running on Metra Electric. There are only 26 of them and being AC propulsion, they are incompatible with the majority Metra Electric DC propulsion fleet, so they only run together, making them a "rare" find.That aside, great shots....you really had a railfan's holiday. The responses here have shown me that there's some real interest here on the forum for what's in my back yard, to speak. I'll have to get out and photograph more. David Harrison |
