Where are they going to build that? Who has plans for that? (Answers: nowhere and nobody. There's no incentive to build something like that, besides.)If you can get the Acela Express up to an overall average speed of 100 mph (which ought to be standard for tilt trains, really), then Washington to Boston could be as short as 4½ hours (with WAS-NYP no longer than 2 hours). |
