Also, these cars were fully compatible with each other unlike current car orders in which a letter suffix on the contract number render each equipment group incapable of operating together in the same train. If the MTA had any guts, it would mandate that all NTT car classes MUST be fully able to operate in trains with all other classes like the PATH did when they GOHed the PA-1s through PA-3s to be compatible with the PA-4s.
