That would put LA County sales tax at 8.75%. This would be used to fund new projects and according to the release accelerate the schedule of current rail projects which could include Expo, Expo Phase 2, Crenshaw, fare gate barriers, and the Harbor Subdivision. I don't know what the odds of this are of passing, but they don't put it on the ballot unless polls show that it has wide support and has a chance of passing. |
