Actually going by Edwards' idea to shift the R/W to the Nassau line and the E to take over the R line from Cortlandt on south, then there's no more a need to shift the SAS over to the Nassau line and they can leave it running down all the way on Water Street. The SAS can then use a separate tunnel and either run on the Fulton line [using the Court St station] or eventually run down Utica Av.The E alone would justify the use of the Montague tunnel w/out the need for the SAS. |
