(E)+(F):(R)The question is, what *is* the ridership of the (E) and (F) trains as they arrive at 74th Street. Are they full? Are they mostly full? Are they empty? Now ask yourself, "Self, how many people change from the Local to the Express at Roosevelt?" *THAT* alone should tell you that even they PREFER the express over the local, since the (R) can serve every place in Manhattan that can be reached by either the (E) or the (F). Finally, look at these trains as they are arriving in Manhattan: are they all equally filled. If so then it is working and does not need fixing. ROAR |
