Which would be half the year (usually late October to late April).

It would actually be the Aqueduct-North Conduit station that would be in the direction from Manhattan on the A, while the Aqueduct Racetrack station can be used on race days for trains going to Manhattan. On weekends during the racing season (especially big race days, a limited number trains on this branch could perhaps terminate at Aqueduct.

Also, if the middle tracks are used, it may be worth converting Aqueduct-North Conduit into a four track, two-island platform station, especially since Aqueduct is going to become a "racino" in the next year or two once the New York Racing Association franchise extension finally goes through, which likely will mean much heavier ridership to that station and the adjancent racetrack station.
