Can you identify the collision that you spoke of more specifically? I can't recall it, offhand.This collision caused by a 5800 ton BNSF train pulled by three locomotives that disobeyed two straight signals, colliding head-on at 25-30 mph with a Metrolink train operating in push mode with 3 cars. 2 passengers were killed, and 22 other passengers were seriously injured. The two fatalities were caused by the fragility of the human body on impact with hard surfaces. |
