There are complainers in every group, and claims within. I actually liked the Westcodes when they worked right because they were retained like GEs by a secondary pilot spring. Trouble was they weren't set with enough give so the pilot would attempt a deadman application with a hairs worth of movement on the handle on some of them, thus the term "Pop-O-Matic". R32-R68 type newer WH controllers have heavier springs which needed more pressure or the pilot valves are set so they leak if you take bumps. GE from the R10-R30s you could hold down with a pinky once you snapped them down. R27-30s sucked if you had to put upper body weight onto them
